Honor Makes a Splash at IFA 2022 with a Slew of New Devices, Including the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon PC

This year’s IFA in Berlin is proving to be a busy one for Honor, with a multitude of new devices being unveiled for global markets. One of the latest additions to the lineup is the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon PC, which joins the Intel-powered version that was announced earlier.

The MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon PC boasts many of the same features as its Intel-powered counterpart, but with the added benefit of the Snapdragon X Elite processor. This upgrade promises better energy efficiency, longer battery life, and more on-board AI features.

The device still packs a 14.6-inch OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080px, and weighs in at just 1kg with a thickness of 1cm. Honor proudly claims it’s the “lightest AI PC on the market.”

One of the key features of the Snapdragon X Elite is its AI capabilities, which Honor is leveraging to optimize background processes and improve performance and power draw. The device can also detect and optimize the top 14 most used applications on Windows based on usage habits.

Additionally, the MagicBook Art 14 Snapdragon PC comes equipped with Honor’s AI Agent, which assists with everyday tasks and can even identify and cancel unwanted subscriptions. This AI agent will also be making its way to the Magic7 series.

Other AI-powered features include the ability to identify deepfakes and help users stay on top of their devices and apps.

Honor is also focusing on creating a more seamless ecosystem experience with its MagicRing feature. This allows users to connect their phone, tablet, and PC (in this case, the MagicBook 14 Art Snapdragon) and use peripherals and apps across devices, as well as share files, messages, and calls.

Although Honor hasn’t yet revealed its plans for the release date and pricing of the MagicBook 14 Art Snapdragon PC, we hope to get more information soon.
