Motorola recently launched the Moto S50 Neo, and as promised, the brand has unveiled the vanilla S50, a China-exclusive device.
The Motorola Moto S50 is powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC, runs Android 14, and comes with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage onboard. Its 6.36″ 120Hz LTPO pOLED display offers a 2,670×1,272-pixel resolution with HDR10+ support and 3,000 nits peak brightness. The display has a centered punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera and a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication.
The device features a triple camera setup, combining a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX896, OIS) with a 13MP ultrawide sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor (3x optical zoom, OIS).
The Motorola Moto S50 is equipped with a 4,310mAh battery that supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, it has an IP68 rating.
The device shares many similarities with the Motorola Edge 50 Neo, which was recently announced and targeted at international markets.
The Motorola Moto S50 is available in three Pantone-validated colors with two memory configurations – 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB, priced at CNY2,199 ($310/€280/INR26,000) and CNY2,499 ($350/€320/INR29,550) respectively. It can be purchased through Lenovo’s official Chinese website.
