Motorola has unveiled three new mobile music handsets at the M3 Music Summit in Miami Beach, designed to enhance the mobile music experience for users worldwide. In collaboration with MTV International, the company aims to cater to the diverse tastes of music fans globally.
The three handsets boast innovative features that bring music to life. The Motorola E398 comes with an integrated MP3 player, SanDisk T-Flash removable memory, and dual MFT 16mm 3D stereo surround sound speakers. It also features vibration sensory technology and rhythm lights, enabling interactive experiences with Java games, ringtones, caller ID, and ambient noise. Additionally, it has an integrated camera with flash, allowing users to take pictures in low-light conditions and view them on the sharp color screen.
The Motorola E680 features dual 3D stereo surround sound speakers, RealPlayer software, and a large color screen, providing an excellent reproduction of sounds and videos. Users can store up to 1GB of music and video content on the removable memory, and transfer data seamlessly via GPRS technology or Bluetooth. The handset also boasts 3D graphics, portable and downloadable J2ME games, and 8-way navi and gaming keys for an engaging gaming experience.
The Motorola C650 is a pocket-sized handset equipped with MP3 ringtones, an integrated VGA 4X zoom camera, 65K color display, MPEG4 video playback, downloadable Java games, and multimedia messaging. Users can customize their experience by downloading wallpapers, screensavers, ringtones, games, or applications and creating their own ringtones with the MotoMixer.
To protect artists’ rights, Motorola supports the OMA’s Digital Rights Management specifications, providing a secure way for content providers and artists to protect their content and ensure that only paid users can download and use digital media.
The C650 and E398 handsets are expected to be released in Q2, while the E680 is expected to hit the market in the second half of the year.
