The smartphone industry has been abuzz with developments in foldable devices for over six years now, and tri-fold devices are expected to be the next game-changer. Brands like Huawei and Tecno have already teased their take on this new form factor, and now Oppo is stepping up to show off its own tri-fold smartphone.

Oppo’s product manager for the Find series, Zhou Yibao, has shared a render of the upcoming device. The image shows a nearly bezel-less main screen, two hinge elements, and a faux leather back. The phone appears to be running a modified version of Oppo’s ColorOS interface, complete with large widgets and a taskbar. Unfortunately, there is no additional information on the device’s hardware specifications at this point.

It’s worth noting that earlier this year, there were reports suggesting that Oppo and vivo were pulling out of the foldable smartphone market. However, Oppo later refuted these claims, confirming that it would continue to develop new foldable devices.

The source of this news comes from Weibo, and was first shared by Innogyan.
