The Honor Watch 5 is the latest smartwatch from the brand, succeeding the Honor Watch 4. It boasts a larger and brighter 1.85-inch AMOLED display with 450 x 390px resolution and 1,000 nits peak brightness. The smartwatch features a 6-series aluminum frame with a rotating knob for easy controls, as well as a speaker and microphone for Bluetooth calls.
The Honor Watch 5 is built with an IP68 rating and 5ATM waterproof, allowing you to take it swimming. It can track various sports activities and comes with on-device GPS positioning. The smartwatch pairs over Bluetooth 5.2 and packs 4GB onboard storage for storing music playlists, running on Honor’s MagicOS 8.
New features for this year include Honor’s Scientific Sleep Management, Healthy Morning Report, and Quick Health Scan, which help you stay on top of your health monitoring. The 480mAh silicon-carbon battery offers a 21% boost in energy density compared to the battery on the Honor Watch 4, and with the Honor OS Turbo X system-level energy consumption optimizer, the watch claims to provide up to 15 days of battery life with regular usage.
The Honor Watch 5 comes in Black, Gold, and Green colors, but pricing and availability have yet to be revealed.
