Motorola unveiled four new 3G phone models in Beijing: A1000, E1000, V1000, and V980. A1000 and E1000 will be released this year, featuring built-in cameras, GPS, and Bluetooth. V1000 has a 2.2-inch color display and supports GPRS and WCDMA. V980 is an entry-level model for the 3G market.

Four new Motorola models were recently uncovered in Beijing, catering to the 3G mobile phone market. Two of these devices are expected to hit the market in the second half of this year, while the remaining two will be released in the first half of next year. The announced models include the A1000, E1000, V1000, and V980.
The A1000 is Motorola’s first 3G PDA phone, featuring a 1.2-megapixel DSC (Digital Still Camera), support for MPEG-4, MP3, and WMA, and runs on Symbian 7.0 OS.
The E1000, on the other hand, comes equipped with GPS functionality, built-in Bluetooth technology, and a 1.2-megapixel DSC.
The V1000 boasts a 2.2-inch, 260,000-color QVGA display, a sub-display with 65,000 colors, a DSC, and support for GPRS and WCDMA standards.
The V980, meanwhile, is designed for the entry-level market, with the goal of promoting the sales of 3G phones.
