Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition to Have S Pen Support After All

[ad_1]

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is rumored to have S Pen support, contradicting a previous rumor. The phone won’t have a dedicated internal slot for the stylus, but users can use it on the device like on the Galaxy Z Fold6. It will have a 200 MP main camera and dimensions of 4.9 mm (unfolded) and 10.6 mm (folded).

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, previously rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Slim or Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, may actually support S Pen functionality, according to a new rumor.

This claim contradicts a previous rumor that suggested the device wouldn’t support Samsung’s stylus, so it’s essential to take both reports with a grain of salt. However, if the S Pen support is indeed a feature, it would allow users to take advantage of the device’s display in the same way they do on the Galaxy Z Fold6.

One key point to note is that supporting S Pen functionality doesn’t necessarily mean the phone will have a dedicated internal slot for the stylus. Instead, users would be able to use the S Pen on the device’s surface, just like on the Galaxy Z Fold6.

Unfortunately, the internal design of the phone doesn’t allow for the integration of S Pen in the same way as on devices like the S24 Ultra, due to limited internal space. Adding more battery capacity or reducing the phone’s size would be necessary to make room for the S Pen.

In related news, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition boasts a 200 MP main camera, as well as a slim design when unfolded (4.9 mm) and when folded (10.6 mm). Its inner screen measures 8 inches, while the cover display measures 6.5 inches.
