Bob Morioka, managing director of Panasonic’s overseas phone division, announced that the new Panasonic X700 with integrated Symbian OS will hit the market in July, primarily in Asia and Europe. The X700 will be the smallest Symbian-based handset on the market, an upgrade to the current Panasonic X70.
The device features a clamshell design, a VGA digital still-camera with 300K pixel resolution, a rotating 65K TFT display, Bluetooth support, and Symbian OS.
