Motorola’s new Moto G35 is the most affordable entry in this year’s G-series, offering a solid specs sheet for just €199. We recently had the chance to spend some time with the device, and here are our first impressions.
The Moto G35 boasts a sleek design language, with a camera island gently rising from the back. The textured back on the green color variant features vegan leather made with renewable materials, including soy and bamboo. The black and red versions feature a polycarbonate back with a sparkle-like finish that provides plenty of grip.
The dual camera setup is headlined by a 50 MP main shooter, joined by an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The phone comes in three color options: Guava Red, Midnight Black, and Leaf Green, which is the one we got to test out. The green color is our personal favorite, with the vegan leather helping with grip and offering a nice option for those who prefer to go case-less.
The front of the phone features a sizeable 6.72-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at up to 1,000 nits peak brightness and features an embedded 16 MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the Moto G35 relies on the Unisoc T760 chipset and comes with 128GB base storage, an upgrade from its predecessor which started with 64GB storage.
