WhatsApp is developing a feature that allows users to add people and group chats to custom lists, which will soon be followed by the ability to filter chats through these lists. According to WABetaInfo, the feature will be available in the app’s beta version for Android, with version number 2.24.18.16.
When the feature is rolled out, users will be able to filter chats through custom lists, which will appear alongside the current labels of “All,” “Unread,” and “Groups” in the app. The filter’s name will be the same as the list, and clicking on it will display individual and group chats associated with that list.
