New clues suggest that the OnePlus 13 might make its debut earlier than usual, potentially arriving in late October or early November. This would coincide with Qualcomm’s latest chip launch and position it perfectly for the holiday shopping season.
Moreover, the phone could be one of the first to feature Qualcomm’s highly-anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, alongside Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 14, whose release has been rumored to be secured exclusively by the Chinese brand after Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit on October 24th.
In contrast to previous release timelines, the OnePlus 13 deviates from the usual pattern, diverging from the OnePlus 12 which was launched in December and released on shelves in January, and the OnePlus 11 in February 2022.
Numerous speculations have hinted at the OnePlus 13’s impressive specs, including a massive 6,000 mAh battery, a novelty resulting from OnePlus’s new Glacier Battery technology. However, this might at the expense of wireless charging capabilities. According to rumors, the camera system would also undergo a significant upgrade, with a three-camera array expected to be installed prominently on the phone’s back side.
