iQOO is allegedly working on a new variant to add to its popular Z6 lineup. Rumors are still vague, but they claim that the iQOO Z6 5G will offer 80W fast charging. The iQOO Z6 5G would be joining a current trio of siblings within the Z6 line. There is the iQOO Z6 Pro with its 66W charging, the iQOO Z6 – a 4G phone with 44W charging and the iQOO Z6 5G, which was unveiled in India back in March with 18W charging.
Since the iQOO Z6 5G name is already in use, this hopefully means that the new device will sport a different name of its own. A few days ago, an unannounced iQOO Z6x was spotted alongside a vivo X80 Lite 5G on the Google Play Supported Devices list. Perhaps there is a connection there.
We still don’t know much about this upcoming iQOO Z6 5G variant beyond its charging speed. We expect the phone will pack a 120Hz LCD display, a 5,000 mAh battery and a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main snapper. A Snapdragon 7 series chipset is rumored as well. Hopefully, we will get more info as we draw closer to a release.
