Android 11 is just launched for developer preview, this new OS is named as Android R in setting option. Android 11 will be officially launched in mid-2020. Android 11 was unveiled to developers in mid of February 2020, it reveals some details and a few new features of Android 11. Not all features all reveal just useful ones are shown.
Android 11 new Features
After watching the official video we have seen some amazing features in a new OS, also seen some updations in Android 10 features.
1- Gestures & Screen Recorder
In a new OS, Google doesn’t do wide changes in notification and gestures. However, you can still switch between gesture control and three buttons soft key options. Moreover, this time Google adds a more important feature, a screen recorder function in quick settings. You can easily use this feature from your quick settings menu.
2- Improve Dark Mode
Now it is easy to use dark mode, in the previous version you need to go to System Settings, and from Settings, your dark mode is turn on. Now, you don’t need to do this. In the Android 11 Dark theme feature uses sensor and automatically turn on after sunset and automatically turn off in the morning.
3- Security
Security is always a priority feature in all operating systems. Android 11 improves security and permission features. In the last OS, you can grant permissions only to that app that is in use. Now you are able to only grant permission a single time. This is similar to how the app Bouncer works. But this permission is only available for the camera, microphone, and location. Moreover, in recent versions app asks the same permission over and over again, in this new OS after denying it the app will never ask for permission.
