Steps to restore WhatsApp history
If you lose your previous WhatsApp data and all your personal files then don’t worry. Just follow these steps and you will again get your all personal WhatsApp data.
Step 1Firstly open your WhatsApp and then tap on the three dots in the right corner. Go to Settings > chats > chat Backup and backup all your data on your phone.

After backup installs a new Sim card into your new phone, and switch on the new phone for receiving SMS.
Step 3
Now simply replace your old phone number in your WhatsApp account with the new one on the same phone by following these steps. Go to Settings > Account > Change Number. After adding your new phone number you will receive a verification SMS on your new phone number.
Step 4
Now again backup your chat histories besides making sure the backup will also upload to your Google Drive. After completing the backup, turn on your wifi and install WhatsApp on your new phone. And simple login with new Number and restore all chat history. For your security, WhatsApp will automatically log out of your account from older devices.
