Huawei has formally established the Huawei P40 series in China today, almost two months after it was declared internationally via an internet event. The company has unveiled three flagship tablets in the domestic market: Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Guru, and Huawei P40 Pro Premium.
Since we know about the specs and features of the new apparatus, let us first take a look at the China pricing of the Huawei P40 collection.

In correlation, the Huawei P40 Pro Plus starts at €1399 ($1533) for its 8GB RAM and 512GB ROM variant in Europe.
As you can see, the Huawei P40 series versions are priced far cheaper in China, just like its predecessors. This gap in the European and Chinese pricing of this P40 series is very similar to what we watched for the P30 series this past year.

The Huawei P40 series share a similar layout profile. So you get a rectangular camera home in the back with soft-matte glass finish on the P40 and the P40 Guru versions. The Premium Version P40 Pro Plus comes with a ceramic back. Upfront, the P40 version includes a 6.1-inch flat OLED screen with dual punch-hole cameras on the upper left corner. On the flip side, the P40 Pro and Pro Plus models incorporate an”overflow” curved 6.58-inch screen with dual punch-hole cameras in the same place since the P40.
Owing to a smaller display and battery-powered, the standard Huawei P40 is lightweight and compact. The phone weighs only 175 grams and measures only 8.5millimeters in thickness. In comparison, the P40 Pro weighs 209 g and is almost 9mm thick. The P40 isn’t quite as water-resistant because the IP68 certified Pro and models, but the IP53 rating ensures it could withstand a few splashes. All three versions feature a bigger screen fingerprint sensor that’s 30 per cent larger and faster than its predecessor.
Underneath the hood, all three models include Huawei Kirin 990 5G flagship chip, starting with 8GB of RAM. They support NaVIC along with GPS, AGPS, Glonass, and BeiDou along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1. The new Huawei P40 series includes the most recent EMUI 10.1 OS, which is based on Android 10 & HMS.
The Battery of Huawei P40 comes with a 3800mAh by 22.5W SuperCharge charging technology. The P40 Pro and Pro Plus have much quicker wired charging alternatives because of its 4200mAh battery, maxing at 40W. The Huawei P40 Pro includes a 40MP f/1.8 Ultra Broad Cine lens, an updated 50MP RYYB f/1.9 detector with OIS, an 8MP optical periscope camera, and a ToF detector. The Huawei P40 Pro Plus has an additional 8MP f/2.4 SuperPeriscope lens. This empowers 10x optical, 20x hybrid, and up to 100x digital zoom on the Pro Plus model. On the other hand, the P40 Pro includes a 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid, and 50x digital zoom.
China is a significant market for Huawei, and also the P series has been exceptionally well received in the domestic industry. We could expect the same response to your P40 series too.
