Red Magic’s new Nova gaming tablet features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, up to 24GB of RAM, and a 10.9-inch 144Hz LCD display. The device also has a 10,100mAh battery, 4-array speaker system, and 4-layer cooling system. Available in China now, starting at CNY 3,999 (approximately $565).
Red Magic has announced its new gaming tablet, the Nova, which succeeds the Red Magic Tablet from last year. The new device packs the most capable chip currently on the market.
The Nova tablet runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, paired with 12 GB/256 GB, 16 GB/512 GB, or 24 GB/1 TB memory configurations. The 10.9-inch LCD display offers a 2,880 x 1,800px resolution in a 16:10 aspect ratio and supports up to 144 Hz refresh rate. The tablet also features super-resolution tech for Genshin Impact to increase visual fidelity.
The system is powered by a 10,100 mAh battery, which supports up to 120W charging. The battery can recharge to 50% in just 15 minutes, and a full charge should take less than 45 minutes.
The Nova tablet features a 20 MP front-facing camera and a 50 MP shooter at the rear. The device also comes with a 4-array speaker system and large x-axis linear vibration motor for crisp and precise feedback.
To keep the powerful hardware running smoothly, Red Magic designed a 9-layer passive cooling solution along with its active cooling fan running at 20,000 RPM.
The iconic semi-transparent design is now available on the Nova tablet, too. The device features aluminum, glass, and RGB lighting, and is available in two colorways: Cyclone and Snowfall.
The tablet is currently only available in China but will soon be released to other markets as well. The entry-level 12 GB/256 GB option is CNY 3,999 ($565), the 16 GB/512 GB trim is CNY 4,499 ($635), and the top-tier 24 GB/1 TB model is CNY 5,599 ($790).
