Nothing showcased a new, semi-transparent audio product at IFA 2024, which could be an open-ear earbud, possibly the rumored Nothing Ear (Open). The design features a grille, vent, and microphone hole, similar to current Ear models. A tweet promises “a new world of possibilities” is coming soon.
Nothing has something up its sleeve, and it’s likely an audio product. During an event at the IFA 2024, we were given a glimpse of what the company calls a whole new category of device.
The device appears to be an earbud, as evidenced by the grille on top, the vent in the middle right, and the microphone hole on the left. The design also ties in with the semi-transparent design of current-gen Nothing Ear models, which could be the rumored Nothing Ear (Open).
Nothing shared a teaser image on X, hinting that “A new world of possibilities” is coming soon. Given the design and the rumored name, Nothing’s upcoming buds may be an open-ear design. We’re sure to see more teasers soon.
