PUBG Mobile is about to release a major update that will introduce new features, a game mode, and a brand-new map. The new update will also bring visual changes and updated locations to the already existing and highly popular Erangel map.
PUBG Mobile’s update 2.2 will bring a new map called Nusa, which is a tropical paradise island similar to Call of Duty: Warzone’s Caldera map that was introduced a few months ago. The image below shows what it looks like.
There is also a brand-new mechanic called Super Recall which lets you return to the fight if you have a teammate alive after you die. Solo players will respawn automatically, similar to Call of Duty’s Plunder mode.
The new map will add zip lines as well, so you can quickly move between locations and there are elevators in every hotel at Telepak Town. It can be used to flank enemies and save energy. There is a new 2-seater vehicle called Quad and two new weapons called NS2000 Shotgun and Tactical Crossbow.
The shotgun has 12 gauge shells while firing from the hip and 12 gauge slugs while shooting through the sight. The Tactical Crossbow can be used to repair zip lines with ropes and set buildings on fire with flaming bolts.
The new game mode is called Gear Front, and it will give you 8 skills to choose from when you spawn. The existing Erangel map will get a new weather cycle, bicycle sheds, and structural updates to various regions for a better combat experience.
As always, there will be new cosmetics to choose from as well, but there are no details on that just yet. The update is already rolling out around the globe and should be available in Pakistan soon.
