Qualcomm has recently introduced two new Snapdragon series processors for budget and mid-range smartphones. The processors are being dubbed Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 4 gen 1 processors. the naming patterns have been adopted from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Both the SoCs are created for providing a smooth performing environment for mid-range and budget smartphones. Speculations are that we will get to see the first smartphone carrying the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor in the first quarter of 2023. On the other hand, we can get to see a phone carrying Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 next week as iQOO is planning to do so.
