Lava Iris Fuel 20 Launched With 4400 mAh Battery

Lava has been a good option for low and medium budget smartphone users. Recently Lava has launched Iris Fuel 20 in India at a price of INR 5399, which will be available to be bought on retail and e-commerce stores from next week onwards. Here is the first hand experience of the newbie from Lava and Lava Iris Fuel 20 specifications.

Hardware Configuration and Memory

The key feature of the phone is the battery installed in it. It turns out to be the second largest battery in its price segment after Gionee Marathon M3 being the largest battery phone. A 4400 mAh battery ensures a long battery backup to keep you charged up for long hours. Lava Iris Fuel 20 boxes 4 GB of internal storage space which is expandable upto 32 GB by micro SD card. Iris Fuel 20 carries a 1.3 Ghz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM.

Camera and Display

The display of the device is a decent show and is a 5 inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 480×854 pixels.

Software and Other Features

Iris Fuel 20 runs on Android Kitkat v4.4. It is a dual sim phone, but has no 3G connectivity which could be a severe letdown for the phone. Apart from this, Fuel 20 sports Bluetooth, micro USB and WiFi.

Key Highlights

  • 4400 mAh battery
  • 5 inch display
  • Dual core processor
  • 512 MB RAM

Overview

At a competitive price, Lava Iris Fuel 20 can be a great competitor, while absence of 3G support can be a real drawback. With low budget 4G enabled smartphones hitting the markets these days, Lava may have to face a downstream ride in the game. But if battery is all you primarily care about, then boy, this is just unbeatable with a big powerhouse.
