Recently, Motorola launched new smartphones in China, and ever since then, there have been rumors about an Edge series coming to India as well. Now, the date for the arrival of the Motorola Edge Series in India has been confirmed to be the 8th of September 2022. The Edge series is expected to feature 3 new smartphones, namely the Edge 30 Ultra, the Edge 30 Fusion, and the Edge 30 Lite.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra: Expectations
The Moto Edge 30 Ultra is most probably the rebranded version of the X30 Pro device that launched in China earlier this month. It will come with a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. The display will be a curved edge and feature a fingerprint scanner.
The Edge 30 Ultra will have a 200MP rear camera with OIS along with a 50MP wide angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. The device will also have a 60MP front camera.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will pack a 4610mAh battery with 125W fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

Motorola Edge 30 Lite: Expected specs
The Edge 30 Lite is expected to feature a 6.28-inch P-OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset and have 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.
The Edge 30 Lite will reportedly sport a 32MP selfie camera along with a 64MP main back camera. The back panel is also expected to feature a 13MP wide-angle lens. The device will probably run Android 12 OS with MyUI 4.0 on top and pack a 4020mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: What to expect
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion will most probably be the rebranded version of the S30 Pro smartphone that launched in China a few weeks ago. The Edge 30 Fusion will sport a 6.55-inch P-OLED display panel with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and draw power from the Snapdragon 888+ chipset.
The smartphone will have up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will feature a 32MP front camera whereas the rear end will see a 50MP main lens with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It will pack a 4400mAh battery under the hood with a 68W fast charging capability.
