Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched several initiatives to manage coronavirus pandemic. To be able to provide relief to marginalized sections of the society, Mr. Khan has just established the Ehsaas Emergency Cash program. It aims to provide financial aid to 12 million households. The entire cost set for this program is Rs. 144 billion. But if the demand for Ehsaas Emergency Cash is higher, additional resources will be earmarked.
Applying for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program
All of daily wage earners and laborers can apply to your Ehsaas Emergency Cash program by simply registering themselves via SMS. The Ehsaas SMS campaign will help the government identify the rightful beneficiaries. To check your eligibility for this program, you have to do the following.

You’ll get an SMS indicating your Eligibility/ Ineligibility.
In case your CNIC is in the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) database, then you’ll be given a message stating that you are qualified for this program. The qualified applicants shall be notified concerning the subsequent process via SMS.
If you are not in the Ehsaas database, then you will be asked to get in touch with your respective district management. Ehsaas Emergency Cash Ineligibility
If your CNIC is valid, you may move to the next measure. If not, then you will receive a message indicating that your CNIC isn’t valid, and you are not eligible for the program.
In case your application is obstructed as a result of blocked sanity profiling, then you are not qualified for this program too.
If you or your spouse is a government worker, then you are not qualified for the program.
The applicant is not eligible if he or she’s registered with additional Federal Government aid/financing schemes.
