Call-waiting
The call-waiting feature allows users to receive an incoming call while they are already in the middle of another call. Earlier the user didn’t have any such option. For using this feature you must update your WhatsApp from Google’s Play Store.
Reply to a person in a group privately
This is one of the most likely new features of WhatsApp, with the help of this feature you can send private SMS to any friend in a group. Now there is no need to find your friend in a group member list.
For sending a private message to your friend in a group, hold a message in a group chat>select the three buttons in the top right corner>reply privately. The message will appear in your one-to-one chat with the text box below.
Pin important chats
If you want to see your important chats always on the top you can pin the chats on top, even if there are no new messages or notification to access them faster. WhatsApp currently allows three chats to be pinned on the top. For pin, any chats just simply long-press on the chat message you want to pin and hit the pin icon on the top bar of the app.
Fingerprint authentication
WhatsApp also adds many security features for the privacy and security of its users. The fingerprint authentication in your mobile is just similar to the fingerprint lock of a smartphone. If you want to enable this feature, go to Settings>Account>Privacy>Fingerptint Lock.
Find the person you message the most
This feature allows you to see the information of your most favorite chat from the ranked list of favorite friends. Not only this you can also stuff from that’s occupying too much storage on the phone.
For doing this go to Settings>data and Storage usage>storage usage and you will see a list of your most important groups and contacts ranked according to the data you have shared with them.
