Are you not wanting to participate in Zoom meetings due to privacy issues? Try Skype Meet Now feature that lets you establish a video phone that anybody can join using a hyperlink. Here is how to set up a free assembly on Skype.
The Meet Now feature has existed for quite some time, but throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, Microsoft has pushed the feature with an easy-to-use site.
Now, you can visit Skype’s conference telephone page, sign in with your account, create a free assembly, and immediately create a link. If your colleague clicks on the link, they will have the ability to join the call right in the browser (as long as they are using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge).
Recipients won’t need to download the Skype app or even sign in with an account. If they want, they can open the meeting in the Skype program, but that’s not compulsory.
To set up a Skype video conference, open the Skype Meeting page. Here, make sure that you’re logged in with your primary Skype account and then click the”Create A Free Meeting” button.
The Skype website will instantly create an exceptional link (which utilizes randomized numbers and characters and is much more secure than Zoom’s public links).
Click on the Copy button to add the URL to your clipboard.
Alternately, if you would like to invite a group utilizing email, you can click on the”Share Invite” button then choose the”Outlook Mail” or”Gmail” choices.
When a player opens the link in their browser, they will be asked if they want to directly open the Skype program. If they click the”Open Skype” button, then it is going to start the assembly group in the Skype app right.
However, they don’t need to do that. They can click the”Cancel” option to combine as a guest.
Once the popup disappears, they can click the”Join As Guest” option.
The player is now able to enter their name and then click on the”Join” button to immediately join the meeting group in the browser (again, this only works on Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge).
Once everyone has joined the meeting, you can just click on the”Start Call” button.
You’ll again find the choice to replicate the invite link or to invite people. Click the”Start Call” button to begin the video call.
You can use the”Chat Telephone Link” option to split the URL to the movie call any time during the dialog.
To rename the conversation, right-click on the conversation from the sidebar and select the”Manage Group” option.
Here, click the Edit button beside the meeting name to change it.
As soon as you’re done with the meeting, and you want to delete it, right-click on the dialog and pick the”Delete Conversation” alternative. You might also leave the group itself by clicking on the”Leave Group” option.
